Privacy Policy

How this website handles browsing, editorial correspondence, and administrator access.

What this website does

Readers can browse journal information and published research without creating an account. Authors register with a username, name, affiliation, country, contact email and password. The author portal stores manuscript files, metadata, revision responses and review history for editorial processing. An authenticated administration area allows authorized editors to manage articles and upload publication files. The website does not use advertising analytics.

Author submissions and editorial contact

Manuscript files and author-facing review comments are accessible to the submitting account and authorized editors. Internal editorial notes are restricted to editors. Do not upload identifiable patient records. When you email the editorial office, your message and the information you choose to include in it are processed by the editorial office to respond to you and, where applicable, to handle a manuscript submission.

Account sessions and external content

Author and editor access use secure session cookies. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. The recovery code shown during registration is stored only as a hash and permits password recovery; keep it private. The website stores your selected text size in your browser. Linked external services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

Hosting and server logs

Like most websites, this site is served by hosting infrastructure that may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operational purposes.

Journal organization

The journal is the official publication of Turkish Joint Diseases Foundation. Direct questions about account and manuscript data to the editorial office.

Your choices

You can browse published content without an account. Contact the editorial office to request correction or deletion of your personal information. Submission and review records may be retained for editorial and research-integrity purposes; withdrawing a manuscript does not delete its history. The editorial office handles retention and deletion requests.
